Bad Cat Unleash! Attenuator/Reamper with two footswitchable volumes and an effects loop. I use it with my Marshall SV20H with great results. I've tried volume pedals and EQ pedals in the loop and they cut gain too much in a non-master volume amp.

The PS1 doesn't sound that bad to me thru the demo. Just slightly less clear which I think eq could fix. I have one ordered. I hope it's good.

^ I tried it and there is a reasonable improvement with the turned up amp attenuated over just having the gain channel turned down, but there is tone suck. The tone not only sounds dampened, but it sounds cheaper too. I'm gonna try something more expensive.
