  • NAD: Bassbreaker 15 Limited Tweed

I got rid of the AC10 I bought a few months back and replaced it with the Bassbreaker model I should've started out with. I've owned the 7w head and the 18/30 pretty killer amps but they didn't quite fit in the scheme of things. Found a deal on a superclean used one, nice way to end the year!

I dig the look of the tweed and I LOVE the Greenback!

Can't wait til I get to really dig into the amp after the holidays

Hell yeah. These things are great. The silent recording feature makes it an extremely useful tool. They came out right after I bought a couple of similar amps and mics but if it weren't for that I'd probably get one.

      Congrats.

It's a great little amp. I played the entire Bassbreaker line (before they introduced the 30R), and the 15 was the only one that sounded anywhere near decent to me. And that's with the normal speaker (the special editions have "better" speakers). I got a demo model from Sweetwater so it was a bit cheaper than normal, but even at normal price, it's a fair deal. I only ever use the lowest gain mode (it's plenty dirty), but I still find it a very useful amp.

The reverb isn't the best, but it's tolerable. And I miss tremolo (which I normally use 100 percent of the time if the amp has it), but at least it has an effects loop so I can use my Shape Shifter.

I freaking love that amp. Classic looking but with modern trappings.

That's a really good amp. The drive channel for the bb15w and the 30r blew me away. Bought the 30r as soon as it was available but I fell in love with the 15w too. You've bought a keeper

My amp is in the shop and if the repair estimate comes back too high, I'm grabbing a Bassbreaker 15 head.

I got a little bit of time with it today, absolutely love the cleans with my SG/P-90's.

Have you tried the direct out? I wonder how that compares to the direct out of my Tech21 Trademark 60.

                        Not yet

Everything at the house is sort of out of the way for the holidays

Next week I'll have some legit feedback

I am completely thrilled with this amp. it is so damn good at everything I have asked it to do.

Still haven't done any recording with so I can't comment on the line out sorry

It’s a great amp. The only great amp in the original Bassbreaker line IMO (I haven’t tried new 30R).

Connect an extension cab, and it’s even better.

I've got a 1x12 cab I plan on using but I haven't run it with it yet.
