  • Christmas Day NPD x 2

Today sitting under the tree for me today is an EHX 360 looper and an inexpensive On-Stage pedal tuner. The looper will take a bit of time to get accustomed to but should give more practice opportunities. Also, though not a pedal, wife also got me an LM Viking strap to sub in for my Levy strap thats a hair bit short inless I use the attached acoustic string

Side note, can I use my One Spot daisy chain on the looper or should I stick with the supplied power supply?

Congrats! Daisy chain can bring a noise problem with digital pedals but it really depends on the chain so give it a try.

Thanks, didnt want to risk blowing up the pedal. Everything else I use is on the One Spot with little to no noise.

What is the voltage and mA on the pedal? A lot of those pedals need more power than a OneSpot or daisy-chain supply can push.

Ill have to look at the box. I currently have it plugged in using the supplied power supply, figured Id be safe. But if I can eleminate an extra cord, Im all good with that too

Being underpowered "typically" will not do any damage. It can affect the performance of the unit especially adding unwanted noise. The wattage and mA ratings should also be listed on the power supply that came with the unit. IIRC the OneSpot is around 1700 mA you should add up the mAs of everything in the chain to make sure it is under that level.

2 Wamplers, 1 EHX, 3 MXR and 1 TC Electonics, Im at 288 mA, so definitely not overloading the 1 Spot. Cant find the amp draw on the tuner, but sitting at 288, not worried about that added pedal.

The TC and EHX are higher draw pedals, but seems I have plenty of room should it be needed.

                Thanks for the tip Securb

Just make sure that the polarity is also correct.

A looper is one of the most important tools for practicing, and makes a wonderful device for creative live performance. Congrats on the haul!
