    Why an Epiphone ??

Only a real Gibson G is good enough.

cuz I don't make enough money to afford a white one with a full sized guard which are rare and a bit more expensive.

    I kept thinking to myself
    Self
    What tone do want most!?

Les Paul.... But the SG looks so good and is more comfortable...

So I bought a Les Paul even though I kinda don't like the weight and that big neck heel. I got a Les Paul tribute with the 490 set in honey burst...

Just kidding I'm still on the fence. My gut says go with what my ears say and get the Les Paul but my eyes and my wallet say for that price I could get the epi SG,a case, pickups, and have a little left over.

The new modern Epiphone LP is chambered

The new Muse Epiphone LP has tummy cuts and a thinner body

You can get the lighter comfort with the LP

I did chambered with F holes on mine
    Much lighter with neck dive

My Dean Shire is an LP shape but is the traditional laminated body like a 335
    With F holes

It is super heavy at 9.2 Pounds
Easily my heaviest guitar that ain't a bass

Screw it. Plenty of time in life for both.
But I'm freaking in love with the looks and I know I will find plenty of use for it and it's the least expensive of all guitars I'm thinking I'd ever want
If it sucks I can exchange or return so....SG it is

yeah it'll be good I'm sure. I've loved the look forever. and like I said this guitar is pretty inexpensive which leaves room for some duncans. I can't help but think a 59, and 59/custom hybrid would be... perfect

may the powers etc have mercy on my guitar's headstock during shipping and at my home with my rambunctious pup. I skipped the hard case cuz it's 1/4 the guitar price and I like living on the edge! figure get the guitar, see where it takes me and get pickups when I know what I need exactly...
but yeah thankfully my corgi has not come close to knocking any of my guitars over. she occasionally mlerms the strings by the bridge. must taste like sweat lol.

Interested in trying these alnico classic pro pickups
I had an epi lp with Probuckers and they were pretty good, I hear these are similar but with symmetrical coils.
I also got a KORG sledgehammer clip on tuner, my two amps are in different rooms and I get tired of dragging the pedalboard with the tuner back and forth lol
