          Re: Some builds

I wonder if I can turn a good profit if I do a steampunk axe. I got plenty of material to do a few up..

The last build looks unique. As if a danelectro, sg, and a bc rich mockingbird spliced their dna.

            Re: Some builds

            I appreciate your comments.
I really like building things that look aged and well played rather than things that are attacked with the sander and called relic'd.
One of the best compliments I've had was a bloke checking out the Junior and saying "This is a beautiful old piece. What did you do to it?" I said " I built it 2 months ago" and he didn't believe me!
Dont think folks realise how much time and effort goes into making something look old and unloved!
            Cheers,PJ

Did you really cut up the Gibson Junior to make the last one?

Thanks. The bass was built for hot rodder/sculpter friend who is into steampunk.
There's a matching guitar in the works too.

No. No juniors were harmed in the making of these guitars! I built the Junior from scratch.

The last guitar is one of my designs with a big 60's influence.

                Cheers,PJ
