Does the Seymour Duncan 59 bridge pickup have a short or long Alnico 5 magnet

Long magnet, since the early 80s it been polished and not roughcast. I've put a short A5 in one, tamed the bass a little, it seemed to still have all the treble it did before, maybe a tiny bit less.

I believe 2.5 inches for the long, 2.36 inches for the short.

Is there a difference in tone from a long alnico 5 vs a short alnico 5

            Of course there is.

Less mass, less charge, less inductance = different magnetic field shape, magnetic circuit and return, hence different tonal outcome.
