I've been getting into The Grigoryan Brothers in the last couple of years. You might dig their stuff.

The classical guitar, the sweet runs, the smooth feeling.

Who else is in the genre/style/wheelhouse that I can go listen to please?
I remember that show (Thunder Seven album) at Montreal Forum, January 13th 1987 (got the date from Google). It was '80s hair metal back then and guitar players doing a solo (without the band) where playing 1000000 notes a second, full of delays. Classical guitar was not part of those shows!!!! I was already opened to classical guitars and was listening also to a lot of classic and fusion jazz. But seeing Rik coming on stage with that guitar and playing that song was totally amazing. A moment I will remember all my life. He then switched to its electric guitar and was done for a 10 minutes solo, which was a master piece in itself also (no 1000000 notes a second for sure). It was the first time (and probably the last time) I enjoyed listening to a guitar solo (no band) on those Big Tour music shows.

    For Triumph:
"Fight the Good Fight", "Lay It On The Line", "Never Surrender" are some good ones.

OK, thanks - listened to those 3. It had some cool moments.

Sounds like they were really influenced by guitars and guitar tones of Rush and Journey, drums and song structure of Heart, the stage and vocalization of Journey and lyrically themes of Yes and Rush.
