Do you have a ground wire going to the bridge and/or trem claw?

There is a ground wire going from the back of the guitar(somewhere) to the Jack output ground.

I have checked the wire at the bridge and it's fine.

It's more like a ticking ground noise. Not loud but it is there.
Never had this issue before.. only hum etc with ground problems.
