Re: Alnico 5 Bridge and Ceramic Neck, anyone?

My Charvel So Cal came with an EVO neck (ceramic) and Tone Zone bridge (A5). They work pretty well together in terms of balance and tone. No problems mixing magnets as long as the pickups themselves are designed in such a way that they work together (I wouldn't mix an EVO neck with a Seth bridge for example).

One of the best ceramic neck pickups I have ever heard is the DiMarzio D-Activator. I could easily hear it meshing well with something like a Full Shred or JB. Even a 59b.
