    I like to think the new chrome parts de-age the guitar somewhat. Gold just looks dull.

    I agree that it does look younger/newer with the chrome.

          I think some of the pictures are flipped. The cutout and controls are on the wrong side! :P

            There was a Vibramate V5 installed with the Bigsby, so no drilling was done.

                I thought it had a lot of character in its "before" configuration, but that's just me. Still looks good with the updates!

                  Chrome for the win here. Gold hardware is usually never my choice, as it never ages well. I'd love to see more copper, though.

                      I like worn gold hardware too, but the chrome version definitely looks newer and less played.

                        I probably would've kept the gold if it had the original tailpiece rather than the Bigsby. The aged binding helps retain a "lived in" feel, especially the two cigarette burns on the side.
