  • Seymour Duncan Convertible 1200

I have a Convertible 1200 amp with a Seymour Duncan Convertible 100 speaker in it (all stock). I've read of some issues with the Convertible amps, but they generally seem to be for the 100 watt models. Does anyone know of issues with this 60 watt model? In general I'm interested in ANY info about my amp and it's speaker, as far as (for the amp) known problems as far as breakdowns go, and possible things to do to avoid such breakdowns, construction differences or philosophies, and as far as the speaker goes - who makes it and what the sound modeling was aimed at. Even though it's a tube amp, it seems to have fewer tubes than other tube amps I've seen, so I'm guessing it's a hybrid of tubes and transistors. Anyhow, anyone with actual knowledge about his thing, please educate me.
