Hi all
I want to install a lipstick pickup in my wood bodied acoustic resonator. I'm fine with the skills to do the job, but I'm wondering if I need to ground the metal components of the guitar?
I've installed pickups in many electrics where a "bridge ground" is typical, and I've installed piezo pickups in acoustics where it's not necessary. This is my first "crossover" putting an electric pickup in an acoustic guitar.
Would I still run a ground from, say, the cone?
Many thanks in advance
