  • NAD: Peavey TKO-115

Lord have mercy. A friend is moving from a condo to a boat. So he swings by today with an old school Peavey TKO-115 bass amp. (With wheels.) Gives it to me as a gift. He wants it to go to a good home. YeeHaw!

I am not worthy. (15" Scorpian speaker.)

      Yup. It's seriously heavy.

Getting that pebble-grained Peavey vinyl clean is gonna be a chore.

Seriously, though, the old Peavey bass amps are great amps, particularly if you don't need to move them. Great for a rehearsal space amp, or a rig you leave at church.

He's on his way over now to help me move it into my shed/shop. This will be my new bass practice area. It's actually quite clean. My photo makes it look funky.

Looking forward to hearing your impressions of the new amp. I think my next music purchases are gonna be another decent sized amp and a stereo pedal.

How does the TKO differ from the TNT?

LMAO - I was just gonna say "Thumpity thump THUMP!"

                  TKO is 75 watts
                  TNT is 150

Both are heavy mofos. Both sound cool.

Congrats on the new amp, Artie. Let us know how it is when you re-emerge from the bass shed!
