  • Pearly Gates in a Shop Floor Custom box ?

I've got a Pearly Gates neck pickup that came in a Shop Floor Custom box. I bought it off of Ebay, but it all seems to check out. There's a sticker that reads " S/N # 30096 20171219" then below that "SH-PG1N 259539" and the sticker on the bottom of the pickup matches. The pickup looks like all the others, except for the lack of a Seymour Duncan logo.

I'm new here, so I don't know if this has any significance

    welcome to the forum!

chances are the only difference is no logo. shop floor customs are normal pups with a minor tweak, sometimes costing a few bucks more. they arent made in the custom shop, they are still done on the production floor.

A few years ago I bought a Duncan Distortion bridge/Jazz Neck off ebay, specifically because I wanted the bright green bobbins. They were "shop floor customs." In every respect they are the same as a regular set, but because of the green bobbins, they get the custom designation.
