  • Which pickup for my Strat ?

I'm replacing the Vintage Noiseless pickups in my Fender Roadhouse Strat for some with more character. I've already got the pickups, and I know I'll wind up with an extra. I'm planning to use a Red Devil at the neck, and a P Rails in the bridge, mounted in a Triple Shot. That leaves the middle - I've got A Lil 59, and a Vintage Rails. I need the middle pickup to play nice with the bridge (in it's various options) and with the neck (which I'm thinking about wiring for a series/parallel option). I mostly play blues. Mostly clean, or with some slight tube amp breakup.
Any suggestions for which pickup to use for the middle? Or maybe move the Red Devil to the middle and then either the Lil 59 or the Vintage Rails for the neck?

I'd say Vintage Rails, which will blend well with the P-Rails and Red Devil, providing you with quack-a-bility. They are on the quieter side, so it might have to be raised a lil bit.
