Re: NGD: say hollow to my little friend

When I was 13, I had a Washburn catalogue. Loved their semi hollows, and the double cut 2 hb model they had then (I think there was an all-white Nancy Wilson version). I've always kept my eyes open for one of those solid body double cutaways...they had sort of smallish cutaways. Only played one once when I was young, then Washburn went the superstrat direction in the 80s.

So where exactly this guitar was actually made is an unknown. It has an ‘81 serial number but the pups which appear original in every way have an ‘85 date code. My best guess it started out in one factory which closed down and was finished in a second factory a few years later.

I am absolutely in love with this guitar regardless.

That is the only thing that matters about any guitar! Enjoy

It is a pretty cool feature and the way the bridge surround is setup you lock the saddles in place

I was just thinking about 'what a strange bridge on a semi-hollow'. You never see a string-thru semi-hollow, either. I wonder if that inherently changes the sound.
