  • Recorded a bastard song today. NEGLECTED.

I think the bass might be a bit hot.

    Feedback welcomed.

I finally got vocals to be more clear....been working on that part.

Single guitar track, single bass line, single vocal. As simple as I could make it.

The bass sounds just fine to me. Another well written piece. Keep it up!

I've said it before, if I lived closer, I'd audition to be your bass player. Even just to sit in at the studio would be cool.
You have a good sense for composition.

Sounds really good. Your instrumentals are on point. I take back what I said about the guitar tracking. Maybe make the vocals more reckless?

More reckless? Do you mean sounding? I suppose some reverb wouldn't hurt them.
But I kinda like the dry direct sound that he gets.

So on remixing the whole song 15 times ha ha..., I took a dry vocal track left, and then duplicated it to the right channel, where I added a touch of delay. Gave the drums more pop.... Smoothed out the bass, tried to mix it a little more evenly. With my hearing loss I always send it to my friends and have them help me find any spots that stick out too badly.

Mix it the way that it sounds good to you.
It's like Impressionism: the painters who originated it likely had vision problems. But they painted what they saw nevertheless.

nice one, maybe the vocals a little in the mix?

Cool tune - I’d bring the vox down a tad but that’s a personal taste.

Another good track. The drums and rhythm guitar especially sound great.
