I have plenty of stock footage with the Tungsol EL-34B's.

This forum will only let me upload one video at a time but the link to the Mullards is above

Bah. Who wants those crusty old tubes? They'll prolly burn up the first time you power them on!

        The Mullards destroy the Tung-sol.

Agreed, the CP Tungsol EL-34B is a decent tube, ive used them about 10 years but the XF2 MBlackburn Mullards dominate.

TS video the Master was on 4 with 8db cut on the hotplate. Mullard Master was only 2 with 8db cut and it slays the Tungsol even at a lower volume. The Mullard is only going to get better the more you turn it up.

I haven't been able to crank it yet due to neighbors but i got that to do !

Was that your new(ish) LP with the 36th anny pickups?
That sounded phenomenal. Each time you turned up it just got better and better. Lol

I didn’t watch the whole video so I’m not sure if you used the neck pickup but I’d be interested in hearing how it sounds through high gain like you have here.
                    Especially lower notes and chords.
I have a 36th neck pickup but I took it out of my LP because it seemed almost too thick, if that’s possible. Tbh, I should have tweaked the height and pole pieces more....

Yes sir thats correct. All the details are listed on the youtube page.

Sweet spot on that amp Master is about 4.5/5, can get louder but i wont have any hearing left.

Was ever brighter in the room. Clip sounds best with headphones so each person's monitors don't color the tone.

My JCM 800 is being modded by a local guy. No loss loop, PPIMV, 6 gain stages, and a switchable Fender style clean channel.
One of the switching components was on order, then this coronavirus stuff happened. So I’m not quite sure when I’m getting it back just yet. He has had it for a long time...partly due to my divorce.

Neck pup 19:20 mark. The 36th Anniversaries are OUTSTANDING. I haven't got a bad or honky tone out of them yet after a year. Course the LP helps.

I’ll check it out when I get a free minute later. Thanks!!

                            Ok....I heard it...sounds great.
Those pickups are just perfection in that guitar with that rig too. You hit a homer with that setup!

Sounds great, that slight chorus nails 1985/96 for me....
