That's the thing- I like chorus, but it sounds out-of-tune to me.

For certain applications, I like the detune thing. Typically more bassy sounds and deep rhythms. It gives a MINIMOOG like feel that I love.

Not a pedal-

But i used to own a vintage mixer board (that I found on the scrap heap)

that had onboard EQ, spring reverb, and gain boost :/

Too bad I lost it, as I lost all my gear in a house fire.

It made everything you plugged into it, sound alot warmer, and the reverb was heck lot nicer than any "digital" reverb I've ever heard.

(Can't keep thinking about all the gear I've lost... makes me drink too much)
