I do not know if these 2 guitars have been compared on here before or not, so apologies if they have.
I'm at a point where I am really wanting to get into a great piece, for under $1000.00 budget that will really compliment and round out what I currently have. So . . . here is what I have . . . A Fender 6 string Acoustic/Electric, an RWG Les Paul set up with D'Addario .10's, and a Seymour Duncan JB/Jazz Combo, a Mitchel MD400 with D'Addario .10's and a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gate in the bridge and Duckbucker in the neck, and I have an HLK Tele with D'Addario .11's and a Seymour Duncan 1/4 Pound in the bridge and SD Tele pickup in the neck.
I have looked at A LOT of guitars, really . . . Ibanez, Fender, PRS, Michael Kelly, and Charvel and I have kind of settled into either the HSH Fender or the PRS 24 as the best 2 options for what I want.
I have listened to them both, Tom Quayle has reviewed both on Dawsons, but not side-by-side and I LOVE how they both sound, truly awesome guitars. I myself have not physically played either of them at this point, although I have held both of them at some point over the last 6 months, and I am impressed by both.
I am looking for some personal reviews, experiences with either and both of them, get some other players thoughts, opinions and as all of this "Virus Mess" hopefully slows down and I can actually get into a music store and check them out.
How does the neck feel, how are the pickups (good tones, etc.), stays in tune, great look and feel, knobs and switches feel solid.
Thanks in advance for your messages!
