    Indeed...but you have to decide if you want noiseless or not. It is always noiseless for me, but everyone is different.

      I had the STK-S7 in the neck and didn't like it, too warm and bass heavy. Remember that the STK-S7 was designed as a bridge pickup. Might fit well with in the neck with a dark humbucker in the bridge so you can set your amp accordingly.
      However I think the STK-S7 is a very good match to the STK-S4, a good balanced set IMHO.

        STK-S4 are the noiseless versions of the SSL-2s (flat poles).

          To me, they have more power, and a softer high end. Which is exactly what I want.
