  • Wiring/polarity/phase in a MIM 72 Tele

I have a Fender wide range humbucker in the neck and recently just got the Seymour Duncan La Brea for the bridge, I was wondering if anyone knows if I have to reverse the black and white wires because it wont be in phase with the Fender WRHB?
On the diagram I got with the pickup it said

"If two pickups sound thin and wimpy when used together, chances are, they’re out of phase with each other. If you’re combining your Seymour Duncan pickup(s) with Fender® pickup(s) in the same guitar, you’ll need to reverse the black and white wires on the Seymour Duncan. In other words, solder the white wire to ground and the black wire to the selector switch."

I've read that humbuckers have opposite polarities so I wasn't sure how it would work between a humbucker and single coil? Any help would be appreciated
