I came across this diagram today, and it appears to solve some of the compromises made in an HSS guitar. All the pickups appear to get the proper load... the single coils get run through (2) 500k volume pots (which I believe should be equal to a 250k pot) and the humbucker gets a 500k volume.
I'm thinking of installing 2 Cruisers and an Air Norton S in one of my guitars and thought this would work well, since DiMarzio recommends a 250k volume pot for the Cruisers and a 500k volume pot for the Air Norton S (and a 250k tone pot for both.)
Has anyone ever tried this wiring scheme?
