It's funny to me that the whole "vintage" market started in the 70's because 70's Gibsons (the Norlin-era) and Fenders (the CBS-era) were so hit or miss in terms of quality and not the equal of those from the 50's and early 60's. And now those 70's guitars are being tagged as "vintage" just because they're now old. Yeah, those are nice guitars, but that one is at least $2500 too expensive. And you can only sell it for $2000 to someone looking to complete a collection. While pretty, and they sound great, there was nothing really special about the sound.Administrator of the SDUGFComment
