  • Looking for the cheapest good tubescreamer...

    Hi all,

    Mooer Green Mile? Any good?

Ibanez' mini (not that cheap) did not sound right when compared with a ts808...

I need this for a cheap no2 board. I've got joyo's crunch distortion on that board for example (the one that has 2 great whites... lame I know). It is cheap but it works (MI Audio Crunch Box inspired pedal)! Now need a TS.

Any other suggestions? I can get a ehx east river for 55 USD... not super cheap, but still a good deal. I know it sounds OK!

Digitech Bad Monkeys pop up pretty cheap now and again.

I got my TS-7 at a yard sale for $20US. But that East River for $55 sounds like a deal.

Bad Monkey, or the TS5 Tube Screamer, which I've seen for $25US.

                  Nice!!!

I am leaning towards that Joyo!

I think I can score a second hand for 20 USD.

I always buy gear, without trying or seeing it first, from internet stores.

                      (racism edited out)

So I'm thinking about the GFS "Greenie"- it has three differnet "modes", and sounds great to me on youtube.

                      50 dollars or so?

You can build a nicer one than you can buy for cheap for 30 dollars in parts -and you can build a totally blown out one for 50 dollars in parts.
