  • Bare Knuckle Boot Camp line of pickups??

    Hi to all!

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Bare Knuckle Boot Camp line of pickups?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Salut camarade belge, ici un habitant du pays d'en-dessous.

I've bought ONE bridge "brute force" Strat single coil, just to see...

13k single coil most probably wound with AWG43 wire. Flat AlNiCo rods. Not so brutal, but harmonically rich as good hand guided pickups can be . A good cheap alternative to the SSL5 IMHO.

I've no experience with other models in this line. Not yet at least.
    Duncan user since the 80's...

Bonjour La France! (although my French really sucks lol)

      Thanks for the input freefrog!
I bet you're right about the Brute Force single coils out of the Boot Camp product line.
Alnico V rods and a high wind with what's probably 43AWG wire.
Good to hear you seem to like it!
I am curently looking into the humbuckers and maybe a single coil to go in between in a HSH setup.

Would love to hear from other people too about the Boot Camp line of pickups from Bare Knuckle.
Thanks in advance for any further input!
