I know people who play barefoot that love them. With regular shoes, I don't see a reason for them.

I put an aluminum one on a first-model Tech 21 Boost DLA because the switch was far back from the front edge of the pedal and I missed it now and then.

As a sock-wearing underwear warrior myself, I will gladly cop to saying that these look like a great idea.

The plastic ones are much less expensive
Though the aluminum ones should hold up longer

These were 20 for less than $10
The metal ones were $2 each

              I like the different colors
I'll give a long term report later

              If you want a link

                Oh yeah
                The other stuff I ordered
It was the magnet charger kit

                $14 for a small vise
$8 for the 8 neodymium magnets

I've been using original ones. They've hold great for couple of years I've had them:

Big buttons are great for back-row pedals. Especially if they have to behind something taller than average.

                      Good thinkin'!

I've never cared for them and kinda think that they make the board look weird.

                        Re: Pedal Buttons

As a side note, these may seem less practical if you wear shoes when playing, but how often one does that? I've heard some people do use shoes inside in US, (don't you get dirt in your house?), but in here we never do that. Even rehearsel spaces I've played in have been cozy enough to leave shoes by the door.

These knobs make hitting the switch much easier and accurate.

                          Re: Pedal Buttons

My singer performs barefoot, and she uses a vocal looper. She started with the metal one, which is held on by allen screws. It always loosened up over the course of a gig. The plastic ones stay put with friction. That is what she uses now.

                            what else you seeing?

to the right is a sharpie
                            and old Husky utility knife

on top of what I think is my current water bill

at the top is a Nectek car jump starter that needs recharging
                            hence its location

These are rounded and just big enough. Fairly priced. https://reverb.com/item/33658324-mooer-shroom-toppers

The toppers do make it easier/faster to hit that button (larger target you can hit at an angle).
