Pass - but thanks. Not the Mosky I seek these days.

I just sold my Pinnacle (exchanged it for a Zvex Distortron) because I get a nice VH sound from my JHS Andy Timmons.

I had the Fab Overdrive, great sounding pedal, if the Fab Distortion is anything near as good it probably sounds great. Haven't tried it so can't comment on the VH-ness.

I wasn't sure if that was a joke, but now that you mention it the Fab Fuzz is awesome and the delay is pretty damn good too!

If they had packaged some of those fab pedals in a normal looking metal box, they would still be on pedalboards. The OD really was awesome.

You guys are all missing it. VH1 Eddies tone was the flares on his jeans.

Later Eddie moved to jumpsuits and tight pants that created all that chorus effect from the blood constriction.

For VH1 tone .... just wear the period correct jeans -also add Adidas track shoes for more gain, boots for more brown.

@Aceman, I read the thread and my english is good enough to understand you are looking for a pedal (or 2). I don't know any, but maybe a Zoom G1 Four can do the trick? It's one pedal and you can program it for that VH1 sound (or at least close to). The user interface is very easy to deal with. Just activate the pedal when needed. You can even insert the pitch shift block to play in Eb (very useful at least to practice with the record like in the good old days LOL). Freaking good processor also for headphone practice, and knowing that you also play bass, I think you can upload some bass amp models on the unit too.

                      Y'all are wrong.

You can only get Ed tone by chugging these:

Was that his tone enhancer of choice back then? I would have guessed whiskey

I remember trying that back in the day, after a few it worked well, at least to my ears.
