Default NPD: EarthQuaker Devices Afterneath V3

I used to have a first-generation Afterneath. It had a big, loud, clicky footswitch. This new one is version 3. It has electronically controlled switching that acts simultaneously as latching and momentary. Press the footswitch once, and it comes on and stays on. Press and hold, and it stays on for as long as you hold the switch down. The buffer is always in, but you get to choose tails or no tails. Most importantly, the new one has nine drag modes that are selected by the tiny knob in the middle of the pedal. The LED changes color to let you know which mode you’re on. And the drag now has an expression pedal jack on the side. On top of all that, the pedal is a whacked-out intersection of delay and reverb like nothing I’ve ever heard.

Nice! Also glad you got the little lamb in the shot! I had a dispatch master for a while, wicked ambient pedal but I sold it to fund other stuff! Earthquaker makes cool cool stuff

Is this one going on your list of pedals that don't get used?

I can never remember what all these pedals do when they give them these pretentious cutesy names.

I once found a guitar amp in the garbage, a Peavey Studio 110. It caught fire at the first gig I played it at.. But it was at the end of it, thank god.

Yeah. WTF is a tubescreamer, RAT, or univibe, anyway?

Should be called mid-humpey-light-overdrive, distortion with too much damned bass, and that Jimi swooshy sound . . . respectively.

This is the only pedal I’ve used since it came in. I’ve even been using the optional expression pedal — a Moog EP-3.
