After trying my two Crybaby wahs (GCB95 and JH1) on bass, and being more than a bit underwhelmed, I finally got a bass wah. The EBS is not a Crybaby modded for bass response, but more like an envelope filter with a pedal. I know that a wah is a pedal controlled filter, but this thing is something else. It has 4 modes (high pass, low pass, band pass, boosted band pass) and sounds more effecty than a normal wah.
The two coolest things are when it’s left parked, it’s not instant clogged sinuses, and it’s a volume pedal when bypassed (true bypass is optional via a switch on the side). Built like a tank, and it’s red.
