  • My completed Orange amplifier cabinet project

Hi guys - finally finished my amplifier project... was a great experience. The moral of the story is to just buy a pre-built cabinet! Much faster, cheaper and likely better!

    Looks great.

And I agree - I wasted weeks on making a bass cab from scratch and I should have just bought an existing one and dropped a nice speaker in it. Mine turned out worse though - I can sprayed it but should have used tolex.

Thanks. You can always tolex it over your finish! [emoji14]

Looks great. But you all are discouraging me from building my own cab.

Ha! It’s worth it for the experience. Just don’t think you’ll save $$

An OR15 would look great on that...

Nice job. At least this way you have the satisfaction of doing it yourself and you can say “this is my orange COVID-era cab”.
                Oh no.....

Looks great! And I agree, like most things, DIY because you want the experience, not to save money.
