Sounds great in the video. I'd be interested to try it live. Some really nice low end there.Administrator of the SDUGF

I had one on my board for years, loved it once I started treating it like the fuzz pedal, it really is. It has been confirmed that the OD circuit is his take on a particular fuzz pedal that slips my mind right now. It was my go to pedal for Nirvana tones for a while. It was early in my chain, so I could use the boost to drive my preamp or pedals harder, giving me more flexibility.

When I look at the video, it sounded nice to my ears especially with SG. Personally I did not have any experience with this pedal but MXR produces very good quality pedals. In this video, apparently it performs very well with humbuckers instead of strat. Of course it's my opinion.

This thing looks great along with so many other MXR pedals, they seem really on the game with loads of cool sounding pedals, I think Dunlop have got it going good at the moment especially with the new Way Huge stuff, I remember when the only interesting thing was script reissues and a new crybaby. Now you have them looking at various boutique builds and making pedals to compete with that but with the availability and consistency of bigger production. I also have a weakness for 2 in 1 pedals.
