    No maybe about the delay. That sound you're hearing is slapback, not spring reverb. It's a very distinctive sound.

      Here's how I would get it.

      Left guitar:

      - low output (chimey) PAF in guitar with good low mids (prolly Les Paul)
      - Fendery vintage tube distortion
      - slapback echo (~100ms)
      - little bit o' plate verb

      Right guitar:

      - same guitar & amp
      - tremolo
      - ~400ms echo with multiple repeats
      - heavy plate verb
