  • Route 66 OD, Seth Lovers, tweed Deluxe

Here's a clip of the OD side of a Visual Sounds Route 66. The OD side of this pedal is a TS808 clone, even uses the same opamp. The pedal was set with the Drive about 2/3 up, Tone set to the point where it gets a lot brighter all of a sudden, then nudged back a bit, Volume about 1/2 up. The Bass Boost switch was not engaged.

Guitar is my Epi Dot with Seth Lovers running through a tweed Deluxe clone.

This is the end of a song I added the guitar part to for a friend, so it fades in at the end of the last verse.

Wow great sound, very reminiscent of Buck Dharma from BOC on the Mirrors album. Is that on purpose or just by coincidence? I love it, been trying to decide between an A2P, an Ant or a Seth - I just can't decide.

Sheer coincidence The only BOC I know is Don't Fear the Reaper!

Tough decision, Wattage. You really can't go wrong with any of those though.

Thanks, xerxes. Get your TS-9 fixed up and start wailing! I'll bet that pedal sounds great...make it sing!

also, the ts-9 does sound pretty good. so does this pedal though...and it seems more versitile especially with the 2 od modes.
