  • A few more clips

Made a hybrid of a Demon and a neck 59 pickup.....and wanted to make some clips to hear it.
So it is all my Wolfgang and various stuff and the class a combo and the Hiwatt top.
First is a lazy funk thing, using a nice backing track from the ampforum on hc...uh

            Re: A few more clips

Wow, Rid... from all the clips we hear on this board, I'll be damn if you don't have the greatest tone of all.

Do you record with an amp and a mic at high volume? It sounds like so.

I think the amp makes all the diffrence, more so than the pups. There's no way I can get that tone with a Peavey SS amp, whatever the pup I use.

            Great playing and awsome tone!

Thanks...hehe yeah very loud amps and a big AKG mic....actually I forgot to finetune the placement so the sound was abit on the subdued side...
Hmm I have some pictures somewhere of the studio and the gear.

                  Re: A few more clips

I particularly dig the Blues Jam. The 1st guitar tone=super sweet! It sounds so screaming and saturated, kinda like a trebleboosted tone. I really like that tone.
