    Excellent!

Yeah I love the M-Ventures, did you check the video out? They're so stoic they need to lighten up a bit

Wattage, I will work on the track this w/e. Hopefully, I can pull something off that works. I don't know the 1st thing about surf-rock ...
Why don't you take your little Cobra Kais and get outta here?!

        YESSSSSS finally!

Ok, I'll try to record something this weekend...

I'M RESERVING THE SECTION AT CIRC 1:00, when the main riff is brought back... for about 15-20 sec.

            Yea ^^^^^^

That is a very cool backing track but I don't understand the procedure.
            1) Convert to WAV
            2) Pull it into Cakewalk
            3) Play lead part
            4) Save and send back updated MP3 to you?

Great job! Honestly, I have absolutely no idea how'd I approach this.... never solo'd over anything remotely similar to this.

That is the fun part, challenge challenge challenge, you can never stretch your ears too much, I do it as much as I can since my ears and less than functional wrist sometimes makes me wonder if I should hang the bugging thing up.
I'll record something next week with clean tones over this one...twang twang yeah!!

                Me too!!

How do you convert the mpg3 file to a wav file?
Then when you have done your bit how do you reverse the wav file to mpg3?

                Anybody??

Thanks for this just converted the file and it's like 7 times larger!! I suppose you just do a section?? I'll have to read the frigging manual of my recorder and try and sort something out.

The track is great and I have just played my acoustic guitar but will attempt something else later on

What's wrong with the wrist, Rid?
It hurts badly sometimes because I used to repair and setup guitars in a store, it was very hard on it, and I also landed on it one time too many when I was dirtbiking in my younger days.
All in all it has gone weak on me, when it gets really bad a lump appears on top of the wrist, almost make movement impossible without serious hurt, but I refuse to give up playing.
Sorry for OT reply, I'm going to set up a nice clean sound, hmm gotta hook up our springreverb in our studio
Wish I had a Tele right now
