As requested, here are some clips of my Engl Tube Toner preamp in action. They are taken from the raw guitar/drum tracks of my upcoming album. The Tube Toner is the identical preamp to the 520, but in a footswitch/midi controller, instead of a rack-mount.
The setup you are hearing is as follows:
Wayne Rock Legend or '79 Strat > Engl Preamp > Marshal EL34 100/100 power amp > Rivera 4x12 cab > BLUE "The Ball" microphone > ART Tube MP mic pre > Yamaha AW16G.
No EQ or effects have been added to these tracks yet. They are all all high-gain examples of the preamp.
