      They are perfect for jazzmaster pickups. They provide the classic surfer tone brightness, signature to jazzmasters.

      I tried 1 meg pots with single coils and HBs...that didn't last long.

        I always use 1 meg pots with no tone on all my neck pickups with a treble bleed circuit or sometimes do a bass cut mod.
