    Thanks! It's actually a bit darker green than that because that picture is very washed. In low levels of light it looks black. In regular light it's a dark green and you can see more of the grain patterns in the plain maple.

    I should get a pic that better represents the color and that shows the permanently hazed lacquer from 7 years of my sweaty forearm.

          No kidding! I have a picture of it saved in a folder where I keep a ton of pics that I'll consult when it comes time to do another project. It truly is an awesome guitar. It's right up there with the McNaught rattlesnake singlecut I pined over as far as getting me "excited."

            i'll sell it any time someone wants to pony up the cash for it. think BIG. i was offered a big number by a DEALER of all people on it and he's still after it but if he's willing to pay X for it that means he has a buyer that will play X+Y for it so i'm holding out. i may contact him again and see if he wants to come up on his offer since it's been nearly a year since he last made his offer and it certainly didn't go down in value since then.

            i also now have a letter from Gibson stating it is a 1 of a kind which makes it even that more drool worthey to a dealer or collector.

                "Big" is too relative of a term... I'm broke right now, so "big" for me is $100, and something tells me I'd be a little low with that offer.

                That thing should continue to appreciate faster that the inflation rate... I'd hold onto it as long as possible.
