  • Song for Ace Frehley SD user group tribute CD

I recorded this today. Did the drums a few days ago on my computer. Guitars are a strat straight into my Univox U45-B and my Les Paul (Antiquites) through the Plexitone into the U45B. The solo sounds a little funny, but I tried to copy Ace type licks which usually aren't my thing. The original song doesn't have a solo.

Coming Home off of Hotter Than Hell....well, my copy of it lol.

    My songs....enjoy! (hopefully )

I just took some of the delay off the vocals and solo. A little clearer now.

Wow! You've set the bar pretty high, bro. This rocks!!!

I can't believe I missed this post initially. You nailed everything.

What did you use for drums?

AAAAAh, that's more like it, lol. KG, I've got drum software from Fxpansion callded BFD. I use my synth and a midi track in Sonar 5 for the sequencing. So far it's the easiest setup I've used. If I only had a compressor to control those vocal peaks and valleys. I can't wait to hear your renditin of Parasite.

Junior, you rock. Thanks a lot.

Nice work!! Love the 70s production. This Ace stuff is gonna be a blast to hear. Love the delay on the vocals.
