I'd hardly say the Strat gets all the love around here, as we seem to have one of these threads about once a week.
    ---------------------------
The most popular thread I've ever made was 1) a joke and 2) based around literally the most inane/mundane question I could think of. That says something about me, or all of you, or both.

      Re: The Fender Telecaster Club

Check my Sig. I have a few of my Teles in there. I have to take some new photos, I have added a few guitars since those were taken but I have 5 Teles now. They are all a little different

      1. Candy apple red California Tele. with RW board and all stock. I use it for slide in open E mostly.

      2. 52RI MIJ. This has a vintage 54N and a JD bridge. When vintage Tele tones are called for this is the one I grab.

      3. The TWISTEDCASTER: This guitar is off the charts. It has a Duncan firebird neck HB and a hotrail in the bridge. It is suprisingly versatile

      4. Demarino Custom Tele. This is a Mahogony thinline Tele with a flame maple cap, it has a JazzN and a 59B both are tapped with a push/pull pot. Great guitar but it sounds a lot like a 335.
      5. Blackout Tele. This is a metal;flake blue color with no dots on the neck, very sleek looking an it has 2 Duncans one is a PG, but I don't remember what the other is.

I think I am the only fool on Earth looking at Suhr's and Anderson's Teles with the intentions of installing a B or G Bender!!

but for now I have this geetar. It is going to be gone soon....

I get weak in the knees at the sight of a vintage Fender amp!

Do G&L's count? If they do I have several.

              1: 1986 G&L, Broadcaster

              2: 1987 G&L, Asat

3: 1992 G&L, Asat Classic with finer tuner equipped tremolo

              4: 2006 G&L, 25th Anniversary Guitar

I'm also in the process of building a Telecaster. I'm using a late 70's or early 80's DiMarzio body. It will have a G&L, Asat Classic pickup in the bridge, and Seymour Duncan, Seth Lover in the neck position.

This is my 06 MIM. It had a white pickguard, then red pearl (below) then I settled on white pearl.

                              What a beauty!
