Howdy,
I'm having a bit of a wiring issue, I installed a PATB2 in the bridge and a Quarter pound into the neck position of a guitar, while it is working it isn't quite doing what I want it to. I searched through the forums and diagrams on the net but couldn't find what I needed :yell:
My switching plan was to have it go: Bridge, Bridge/neck, Neck
and when the coil split engaged to go: split bridge, split bridge and neck (hum cancelling), neck.
However it just doesn't seem to be going like that, there is no hum cancelling in the middle position and in fact I get hum cancelling in the neck split position! Also I get a ground buzz when in the neck position on the switch, but only in the neck position!
The quarter pound is a RW/RP model (I used to use it in the middle position of another guitar).
I am willing to rewire the whole thing I just wanted to get a bit of help and/or a diagram to follow.
The components to the guitar are:
PATB2 bridge
Quarter pound RW/RP neck
Volume
Tone w/push/pull
3 way toggle switch.
