I meant to post this a few days back, but I've been more than a little bit busy lately.
Anyway, I just got returned to me a custom paint job on my Boss TR-2 and it's pretty slick. I've left the circuit pretty much as is, except expanded the depth so that the pedal can be set to cut the volume off completely at the bottom of its travel, and now the rate can go around twice as fast at the top speed. I will be adding a fancy stacked oppamp thing from monte allums as well, I don't expect it'll make too much of a change, mostly did it for fun, but we will see what happens. Also set the trim pot a little louder. I'm thinking tweaking every last little electrical value I can over the next while to make it more amp-like.
The LED is now yellow and pulses in time with the rate when the pedal is on. The paint and LED work was done by Gear Ant. I'm more than impressed with how it turned out. A neat little side effect is the paint makes the enclosure feel like ceramic.

The attached picture are ones he took, seeing as they are much better than mine.
