100k linear taper

I'm looking for a 100k push/pull but I haven't been able to find one in audio taper. Is linear that weird to use at 100k? I know it really threw me off when I was using a linear taper 1meg pot, but I also know there is a bit of a difference between the two values.

For the 25, 50 and 100k pots used in active guitars, linear versus audio (logarithmic) resistance taper makes very little difference. They all feel slightly wrong to me.

25k push-pull pots are certainly available. My inclination would be to use one as your tone control rather than a volume.

I posted this a few days ago in another thread, but here it is again. I recently came across this site which outlines an ingeneous way of approximating a log (audio) taper pot using a linear pot and 'tapering' resistors........
