I uploaded some live videos of the Bluezz Bastardzz - "That lil' ol' ZZ Top cover band from Hamburg..." to our Myspace and YouTube channels where you can comment and vote them if you have an account there:

They were shot at the open air cover band festival in Hamburg-Moorburg on July 25th, 2008 and at the Fehmarn Festival Group Christmas party in Hein & Bea's barn on the isle of Fehmarn on Nov 24th, 2007. Most of them are ZZ Top cover songs, the rest are songs from German artists like Rodgau Monotones, Bauer, Garn & Dyke, Herwig Mitteregger or Marius Müller-Westernhagen.

All of them were done with my usual live setup which includes a Mesa Boogie Mark IIb 60w head with a self-built EVM-12L Thiele cab and my 1984 Tokai LS60 Les Paul copy with Gibson Shaw PAFs.

Thank you for your reply! Yes, I like to take my Boogie with me for gigs, because I can adapt its volume to the size of the room and be sure that it will sound good. Furthermore it is much easier to transport than my old Bassman head and 4x12" Marshall cab or the Marshall JMP50 plexi combo.

Some new videos taken at Hof Südensee in Sörup (northern Germany) by the local TV station Offener Kanal Flensburg on Sep 16th, 2011: "My Head's In Mississippi" and "Fool For Your Stockings" by ZZ Top and "Walking On The Moon" by The Police, see YouTube example below. All the clips are available in the video sections of our Myspace and Facebook profiles.

One difference to our older videos is my Tokai LS120 with Gibson P-94 single coils with its first appearance in a Bluezz Bastardzz video. :eyecrazy: And you can hear my Roland RE-501 Chorus Echo here as well. Furthermore we had to tune the sound a bit, because they used the dry PA mixer sound for it where the vocals were much too loud compared to the rest.
