Hey bros...

Got a new cover recorded.

Its a song I listened alot to after my dads and close friends death. I can totally follow the songs notion about being off the edge, and holding on to what humanity is left. Visited their graves today, and I had this song playing in my head, so I decided to do a quick cover to a backing track I found.

Its very sloppy, I know. One take and all. I had some emotion to get out, and did it on this. I am not good at composing guitar solos, but tried to retain the idea of the original, whilst improvising my own flavor in it. Hope you like it, nevertheless. I know the guitars sound slightly out of tune - checked with a tuner, they are spot on, so I think its the chorus effect.

Gear used:
Tokai Love Rock with stock Gotoh neck humbucker and Dirty Fingers bridge humbucker (All recorded on bridge including cleans)
Guitar Rig 5 for sounds - JC120 with compressor, delay and reverb for cleans, massive setup for dirty - too long to list.

Hope you enjoyed it. Would like some feedback. I am constantly working on my playing, I know its a sloppy mess, especially my clean playing, but hey - its all for fun. Sorry for the long writing - I just wanted to share this

Edit: Just noticed that it cuts off right after the solo. Seems that my recording program messed up the transcoding. Still, hope you enjoy the first 3 mins of the song

Listening now. I like this song a lot, sounds pretty good!
The distorted rhythm guitars are a lot louder than the rest of the guitars, and the tone on them is a bit "80's" for my tastes, but that's just a personal thing. The rhythm playing is really good - solo fitted although it's not that close to the original.

Overall, good job, I liked it.
