1976 Gibson Explorer

I have a mint condition 1976 Gibson Explorer natural color white pickguard and the guy who owned it before me has the Dimarzzio super distortions..(typical)...How much would this guitar run for If I were to sell it now? I'm hearing anywhere from 2500-4000$ and its rarely played, I play it once in a while in the studio but never gig with it cause its almost pristine condition with maybe a nick on the bottom..GORGEOUS guitar...what do you guys think?

I'm thinking that the original pickups were T tops, but not sure. The guitar is definitely valuable, so hang onto it. Right now is not the time to sell.

How times have changed. I had one 14 years ago, bought it for $500 I think, put in a Super3/Super2, sold it for like a hundred more. It was a little rougher than you describe, but still nice.

That XPL I talk about? I think I paid $250 for it, seriously.
