For your consideration...

I have a 1979 Washburn Falcon.

This is a MIJ guitar. Neck Thru construction. Bound rosewood fretboard. The guitar is factory stock with the exception of upgraded Schaller tuners. OHSC included as well as original owners manual.

It has a 60s style neck carve.

Brass nut, Brass saddles. String through body/hardtail.

This guitar has been played, but not abused. It shows some bumps n bruises but nothing terrible. There is some finish wear on the back of the neck and the back of the body. There are no cracks or breaks.

Truss rod functions as it should as well as all the electronics. Actually is pretty good shape for a 41 year old guitar.

Plays and sounds very well...the pickups are pretty hot...great rock guitar!

$775 plus shipping...no trades please

Thanks for looking!

Re: 1979 WASHBURN FALCON MIJ NECK THRU

Those old Washburns kicked ass! Great rock guitars, as I remember.

Re: 1979 WASHBURN FALCON MIJ NECK THRU

I have been getting a lot of inquiries about the back of the neck.

That is NOT A CRACK. I know it looks like one, but it’s not. It’s totally smooth underneath the layer of clear coat that has worn off from being played.

I think the reason it wore that way was that there were slight thicknesses differences between the layers of the center block.

So please don’t worry that it’s a crack. I would never sell this to anyone knowing that there was an issue like this.

How would you describe the neck profile?
Gibson 60’s, 50’s, Ibanez...etc?

Kinda chewed up, from the pics. :P

It's real patina, as opposed to the fake stuff that's popular now.
This guitar has real actual miles on it - it's been played A LOT!
