MAN I hate the thoughts of selling this one but have bills that must be paid.

The back photos do NOT do this one justice. Yes that is really QUILTED mahogany has a 3D effect and it is flat STUNNING in person!

That is BEAUTIFUL! Yairis are great guitars!!!

Sticker says DY53 though...and I know it's not a DY53, as I've got one. Best of luck w/the sale. Yairis are great guitars!!!

- dreadnought style, solid Canadian spruce top, round soundhole, white maple bound body, herringbone rosette, burled mahogany back/sides, nato mahogany neck, 14/20-fret ebony fingerboard with snowflake inlay, ebony bridge, mother-of-pearl headstock inlay, three-per-side chrome tuners, available in Natural satin finish, mfg. circa mid-1970s

Bluebook info. Sounds good to me.

Interesting...my DY53 is of the 1989 Canyon Creek Series.

Yes it is a 1982 DY 53 not a 52. The info is on the label seen through the soundhole. This one is a true closet classic and has been virtually unplayed. It is different from any other DY 53 I have ever seen.
