For your consideration...

We have a killer 1985 HAMER USA Scarab done up in the rare "ZULU" paint scheme.

This is a mahogany set neck guitar that is all factory original, with original case. This 80s rocker features 2 HAMER humbuckers, rosewood fretboard, master volume, master tone, 3-way toggle and a Kahler 2300 Pro tremolo system. Its easy on the back at only 7 lbs. The neck is a medium C carve. There are no breaks or repairs. There is minor fret wear in the typical major chord area...but nothing that warrants a fret file.

This guitar brings to the table all that was HAMER USA quality, back in the day. It has a great rock tone that will make you bust out the parachute pants and neon!

There are a couple small dings and a small nitro check on the back of the headstock (see pics) But this baby is in GREAT shape for over 30 years old!!! Trem bar, OHSC and factory warrantee card are included!!!

$1050 plus shipping

Thanks for looking!!!

Re: 1985 HAMER USA SCARAB ZULU

There was a local store (Samuel Music Effingham IL) that carried these USA Hamers back in the 80s-early 90s.
They all played like butter but I could never afford one back then. (plus I just HAD to have a Jackson lol.)
I might be in the minority here, but that's a f'n cool color scheme!

Congrats to whoever snagged this.

Hmm that's called zulu huh? I worked for a Hamer dealer back then and Zulu was a very garish orange, yellow and pink-ish color scheme jaggedly divided at the color change. I thought they called this after an animal pattern?

Cool guitar nonetheless good luck with the sale

Difference between 1984 and 1985, it seems.

Here's an '84 "Day-Glow" version of the Zulu scheme:
